Free SEO Checker: On-Page SEO Score

Paste any URL to get an SEO score out of 100 and a plain list of what to fix: metadata, headings, structured data, indexing and crawl signals. Add a keyword to check its placement.

What it checks

Title & description
Whether the page has one title and one meta description, and whether their length fits what Google shows in results.
Content & structure
A single H1, a heading outline without skipped levels, content length, image alt text, internal and external links, the language attribute and a mobile viewport.
Structured data & sharing
JSON-LD that parses, the schema types it declares, Open Graph tags for link previews, and a declared favicon.
Crawling & indexing
HTTP status, noindex in the page or in X-Robots-Tag, the canonical URL, HTTPS and the http→https redirect, redirect chains, robots.txt, the XML sitemap and server response time.
Target keyword
Add the phrase you want to rank for and the checker shows whether it is in the title, H1, meta description, URL and opening paragraph.

Questions

Is this SEO checker free?

Yes. No account and no limit on the number of pages, apart from a short per-minute cap that keeps the service from being abused. The code is open source on GitHub.

What does the SEO score measure?

On-page and technical SEO for one URL: what Google reads when it crawls that page. Each check has a weight; crawl blockers such as noindex or a non-200 status count most. It does not measure backlinks or your actual ranking position, which need paid data sources.

Why does it need to fetch my page from a server?

Browsers do not let one website read another website’s HTML. The page is fetched once by a small Cloudflare Worker, the result is returned to your browser, and every check runs there. Nothing is stored beyond a 10-minute cache.

Does it work for pages built with JavaScript?

It reads the HTML your server sends, which is what most crawlers see first. If your content only appears after JavaScript runs, a low word count here is a useful warning that search engines may see less than visitors do.

How do I check where I rank on Google?

Google Search Console is the free, accurate way for sites you own: Performance shows the average position for every query. This checker tells you what to fix on the page; Search Console tells you how it ranks.
