Free Domain Reputation Checker
See whether a domain looks trustworthy to spam filters and security tools: blocklists, registration age, spoofing protection and phishing-style naming. Free, no sign-up, runs in your browser.
What it checks
- Blocklists
- The domain against URIBL, and the website and mail server IPs against 11 DNS blocklists including SpamCop, Barracuda, PSBL, Mailspike, UCEPROTECT and DroneBL.
- Registration history
- How old the domain is and whether the registry has placed it on hold or scheduled it for deletion. Very new domains are treated with suspicion by mail filters.
- Email trust
- Whether SPF and an enforced DMARC policy stop others sending as your domain, and whether your mail servers have forward-confirmed reverse DNS.
- Name analysis
- Offline signals filters use: lookalikes of commonly spoofed brands, mixed-script Unicode (homograph) names, high-abuse TLDs, and random-looking or keyword-stuffed names.
Questions
What does domain reputation mean?
It is how mailbox providers, browsers and security filters judge whether a domain can be trusted. Blocklist listings, a very young registration, missing email authentication and a name that imitates a brand all lower it.
Why are Spamhaus and Google Safe Browsing not checked automatically?
Spamhaus refuses queries arriving through public DNS resolvers, and Google Safe Browsing needs an API key. Both are linked under the results so you can check them yourself in one click.
My website IP is listed — is my domain in trouble?
Not always. On shared hosting or behind a CDN, an IP is used by many customers and can be listed because of someone else. It matters most when the listed IP is one your email is sent from.
Is my lookup private?
The check runs in your browser and nothing is sent to this site. The DNS questions go to Cloudflare’s public resolver, and registration data to the domain’s registry.
How do I get removed from a blocklist?
Fix the cause first: a compromised account, an open form or a purchased mailing list. Then use the delisting page of each list. Most lists also expire entries on their own once the spam stops.
