Project overview

The HTML to MP4 Converter is designed for AI-generated animations, social video layouts, interactive mockups, and other HTML scenes that need to become shareable video. Rendering and encoding stay inside the visitor’s browser, keeping the workflow free and avoiding a server-side upload pipeline.

What I built

  1. 01

Added paste and file-upload flows for self-contained HTML documents.

  2. 02

Captured rendered frames with html2canvas and encoded them with FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly.

  3. 03

Provided 1x, 2x, and 4x output scaling for quick previews or higher-resolution exports.

  4. 04

Packaged the app with Vite and deployed the static build through GitHub Pages.

Implementation notes

All rendering and encoding happen client-side; project files are not uploaded to a conversion server.

The interface documents browser constraints such as CORS restrictions for externally hosted images and fonts.
