Onyx Hairline Website Case Study
A fully static website for a hair studio specialising in extensions, colouring and treatments.
The brief
Onyx Hairline needed a site to present extensions, colouring and treatments on cheap shared hosting, with no server-side code to maintain.
What I built
- 01
Built the site on Astro and Tailwind CSS with GSAP animation, with reusable service pages for each treatment.
- 02
Shipped it as plain static files uploaded to HawkHost via cPanel: no database, no API routes, no Node.js process on the host.
- 03
Linked it to the studio’s CRM, where the reception QR code lets new clients register themselves.
Result
- Near-zero hosting cost and nothing on the server to patch.
- A website and a client database that work as one system.
